Why are you in the long term care industry?
There is not another setting in the rehabilitation field that gives you such a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment. It is a very worthy cause where each individual involved gets more back then they give.
Express your passion for the elderly?
The Elderly have lived through such a wide variety of experiences its important that we take the time to get to know the unique individuals who trust us with their care and customize our approach based on mutually agreed upon goals.
What is your most treasured moment in long term care?
My most treasured moments are when we make a difference in the quality of life of one of our elderly treasures. Each individual is worthy of our intervention, from the bed bound resident who improves their quality of life through bed mobility, to someone who breaks their hip and after rehabilitation gains full independence and goes home.
Brief description of your area of responsibility…
As President of the company my job is to look ahead to the challenges and opportunities of next year and put initiatives in place today that will enable us to continue our success in the future
